COMBINATION TREATMENTS = CREATING THE BEST RESULTS IN THE LEAST AMOUNT OF TIME
Restoring volume in your face is one of the most effective and natural ways to look younger and more vibrant. Restylane and Juvederm treatments are a quick and effective way to give your face instant volume - smoothing out deeper lines and folds, and plumping lips for a youthful smile. The positive effects of Restylane and Juvederm are even more dramatic when used in combination with the smoothing effects of Botox. Botox not only smoothes fine lines and wrinkles - it also prevents new lines and wrinkles from forming! Both treatments can be performed in less than 15 minutes and typically do not require any downtime. Worried about facial skin laxity? Add Thermage to your treatment plan for a non-surgical face lift! Be proactive in maintaining your skin - call us for a complimentary consultation to see what combination treatments can do for you. You will be amazed by the results!

FAT INJECTIONS TO THE FACE
One of the best ways to help reverse the signs of aging is to add body fat to the face! Using gentle techniques, Dr. Naficy removes fat from the abdomen, thighs, or buttocks. Your own fat is then injected into the face to fill in wrinkles, correct nasolabial folds, or to plump lips. The greatest advantage of fat over Sculptra or Restylane is that it is 100% natural. Our spacious Center contains a Free-Standing Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), equipped with two separate operating rooms and the most advanced computers, lasers, surgical, endoscopic and monitoring equipment available. . . . read more.
Rhinoplasty (plastic surgery of the nose, or nose job) is the most commonly performed procedure in facial plastic surgery. The name is a blend of the word rhino (nose) and plasty (to mold or shape). Rhinoplasty is by far the most artistic procedure in facial plastic surgery. Dr. Naficy believes that the goal of rhinoplasty should be a nose that looks and feels natural, and is in harmony with the rest of the face without having an "operated-on" look. . . . read more.
Blepharoplasty (also known as cosmetic eyelid surgery or eyelift) is one of the most commonly performed procedures in plastic surgery. Dr. Naficy has performed thousands of cosmetic eyelid procedures and is experienced in all techniques of blepharoplasty, including a method that does not use external incisions (transconjunctival blepharoplasty) laser blepharoplasty, fat preservation, and revision blepharoplasty. . . . read more.
As we age, our skin loses its elasticity and gives in to gravity. This causes sagging of the neck and jaw line as well as loose folds of skin around the mouth. Some people may also develop fatty collections under the chin, and others get thick cords under the skin of the neck. Today, men and women in their 50s and 60s are healthier, more active, and more productive than ever before. More and more people are choosing to age gracefully by setting back the clock a few years through facial cosmetic surgery. The truth is that most people seeking facial cosmetic surgery want to look better, but they don't want to look radically different. We also feel strongly that the outcome of facial cosmetic surgery should be very natural in appearance. A great result is both in what you see and what you don't see. . . . read more.
Whereas a face lift can improve jowling and loose neck skin, a brow lift is the procedure used by facial plastic surgeons to improve sagging of the brow and forehead region. A brow lift is different from an eyelid lift or blepharoplasty, which is a procedure used to trim excess eyelid skin. A brow lift is in fact a lift of the entire forehead region of the face. . . . read more.
The midface is an essential component of an attractive face. With the aging process, the fatty tissue that normally drapes over the cheekbones can begin to sag with gravity. The result is less prominent cheekbones, and a droopy fold of skin and fat between the nose and the cheek (the nasolabial fold). The sagging cheek fat can also alter the appearance of the lower cheek. For example, bagginess of the lower eyelids often becomes more apparent after the fat of the upper cheek begins to sag. This in essence 'unveils' the bagginess of the lower lids, which have always been there. In addition to sagging of the skin and fat of the midface, there is also volume loss from the cheek with aging, due to loss of cheek fat and muscle. . . . read more.
A laser is a highly focused beam of pure light energy which may be used to carefully remove areas of sun-damaged skin (laser resurfacing). This procedure has revolutionized the field of cosmetic plastic surgery and treatment of aging skin over the past decade. The main advantage of laser resurfacing over older resurfacing techniques (such as chemical peels and dermabrasion) is the precision with which the laser works. Dr. Naficy uses a number of different lasers for facial resurfacing. The Derma K laser, which is a blend of CO2 and Erbium lasers, is capable of removing a layer of skin as thin as a fingerprint. This laser combines the advantages of Erbium and CO2 lasers into one exciting laser. Dr. Naficy also uses traditional CO2 lasers, which require a longer recovery period, but are also able to produce more dramatic results. With the Derma K laser, most of our patients are ready to be back at work or social activities within one week, whereas with the CO2 lasers up to 10 days of recovery may be required. Another exciting option is fractional resurfacing using the CO2 laser, which combines the advantages of more dramatic results offered by the CO2 with the more rapid healing time of Erbium. Recovery time for fractional resurfacing is often less than a week. . . . read more.
Chin augmentation (genioplasty) can often produce a dramatic and gratifying outcome. The goal of the procedure is to balance the profile by enhancing a weak chin and improving overall facial harmony. A weak chin will often make the face appear 'bird-like' and pointy and may also make the neck appear too fat. Chin augmentation is accomplished by placing a synthetic implant over the bony chin to improve the balance between the chin and the rest of the face. The implant sits directly on the top of the bone and feels like an extension of the bone itself. . . . read more.
Excess fatty deposits in the chin and neck may give the appearance of being overweight. This unwanted fat may be gently removed by vacuum suction through very small incisions placed in hidden locations. This procedure is most successful in individuals that have good skin tone to the neck, allowing the skin to pull up nicely after fat removal. The most remarkable aspect of this procedure is the amount of improvement that sometimes can be achieved with such limited incisions. . . . read more.
Septoplasty is a surgical procedure used to correct deviation of the septum and the nasal stuffiness it causes. The septum is a partition that divides the nose into two compartments. The septum is made up of cartilage and bone and is covered on both sides with the mucous membrane of the nose. . . . read more.
Ear plastic surgery (otoplasty) is performed on individuals with protruding ears. Ears that stick out too much can attract negative attention to the face and can distract the viewer from appreciating the more attractive features of the face. Children with protruding ears may be teased in school, and adults will often avoid hairstyles that expose the ears. Otoplasty is also known as ear reshaping surgery or ear pinning surgery. . . . read more.
Lip augmentation has become a very popular procedure in facial plastic surgery. Fuller lips are a symbol of youth, health, and sexual vitality. In some of us thin lips may be a family trait. However, thinning of the lips occurs in all of us with advancing age. As lips lose fullness, the corners of the mouth also tend to sag giving a sad appearance to the face. A variety of non-surgical and surgical options are available to enhance the volume and shape of lips. . . . read more.
Fat transfer or fat injection relies on the premise that by adding more volume to certain areas of the face, we can improve signs of aging. It is a well-known fact that as we age, the face loses volume of muscle, fat, and bone. For many decades, we thought of aging as an excess of skin. It is now recognized that the apparent excess of skin is at least in part due to the loss of soft tissue bulk, or fat from the face. Fat may be transferred from other parts of the body (usually from the abdomen, flanks, or thighs) to areas of the face in need of volume enhancement. . . . read more.
Buccal fat pads (pronounced buckle) are pads of fat resulting from a familial predisposition, giving excessive fullness to the lower part of the cheeks, often resulting in a "chubby cheek" or "chipmunk cheek" appearance. Buccal fat removal, also called cheek reduction surgery, offers a solution to those who want to reduce the excessive fullness of their cheeks. . . . read more.
Prominent cheekbones are one of the key features of an attractive face. Cheek augmentation can help restore the well-formed cheekbones you used to have when you were young, or if you have never had well-defined cheekbones, cheek implants may give your face the desired contour of higher cheekbones. Cheek implants are made in various shapes and sizes, depending on the area to be augmented. They are typically made out of permanent solid materials that have been used successfully for years. . . . read more.
The "featherlift" is an innovative non-surgical technique that gives a lift to the sagging tissues of the face using threads. It has been widely popular in Europe and South America, and rapidly gaining attention in the United States. The featherlift procedure offers quick and relatively painless lifting for patients needing only little to moderate rejuvenation. The featherlift is also known as the APTOS lift, the APTOS thread lift and suture suspension facelift. . . . read more.
